Constructed with Super-Alloy Z, Professor Juzo Kabuto developed it as a weapon to combat the Mechanical Beasts of Dr. Hell's reign of terror. Upon his passing, his grandson Koji Kabuto becomes the pilot of Mazinger Z and fights against Dr. Hell and his accomplices.
